Brian has over 25+ years of sales, operations and marketing experience.
From 2014-2018, Brian served as the Chief Operating Officer at Angel Oak Capital Advisors, a specialized fixed income manager. His primary responsibilities included oversight over Marketing, Operations and Risk. From 2012-2014, he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing.
From 1998-2007, Brian co-founded SouthStar Funding, a non-agency mortgage originator with over 800 employees nationwide. Brian served as the Executive Vice President with direct oversight over the Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce and Correspondent divisions and over 225 employees. SouthStar Funding originated over $6.5 billion in annual non-agency originations.
Brian holds a B.B.A. degree in Marketing from Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
Brian holds his Series 7, Series 63 and Series 24 licenses.
