After three former Angel Oak Executives officially launched a distribution and marketing platform focused on income-oriented investment solutions, Skypoint Capital Partners shared some more news with Markets Insider: its new strategic partnership with Principal Street Partners (Principal Street).
Principal Street is a registered investment advisor based in Memphis, Tennessee that oversees over $1 billion in assets. In this partnership, Principal Street Director Darrell Horn, Director Richard Finch and CEO/CIO James West will serve on Skypoint’s Board of Directors. As a result Skypoint will receive distinguished investment advice and operational expertise from the Principal Street team.
“Our strategic partnership with Principal Street gives Skypoint immediate and compelling income solutions for our clients,” Skypoint Managing Partner Eric Anderson says in response to this partnership.
Skypoint also expects to add a select number of investment managers to its open architecture platform.
